Churchills at Holkham July 2009
Visit us at Holkham Fair this year, we will have the guns on The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust’s stand.
The hugely popular Holkham Country Fair is held other every other year in the Park, on both sides of the house; and is attended by more than 40,000 people over the weekend.
The Fair ensures two days of fun and interest for all ages, thanks to a full programme of events and displays in the Grand Ring, from morning to evening. More than 200 trade stands and a large variety of showground events complete the mix.
One of the themes of the Fair is the celebration of the English countryside, its work and its leisure, its conservation, its traditions and its evolution. It is fitting that this event is held at Holkham, an Estate steeped in the history of our nation, but with its own history of a modern and progressive approach; from Coke of Norfolk in the 18th century, to the very different challenges of the 21st.
The 2009 Country Fair will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July.
